Overview #

In the event you are selling a product that has an age restriction, such as tobacco or alcohol, select the Age Check button to scan the driver’s license of a customer.

Note: ID Check only needs to be performed once per transaction. If a customer is buying multiple age-verified products, they will not need to scan an ID for every single item that gets scanned into the transaction log.

Select Age Check #

Select the Age Check button to scan the driver’s license of a customer.

Age Check Popup Screen Appears #

Once the age check popup screen appears, you will have the ability to scan the customer’s ID.

Scan the Customer’s ID #

Scan the customer’s ID.

License Information Populates #

After scanning, the system will populate information like the Customer’s Name, Birth Date, and Current Age.

Print Disclaimer #

Select Print Disclaimer to print a sales disclaimer for the customer.

Add Customer #

Select Add Customer if you would like to add a new customer to your register.

Fill Out Required Information #

Once on the add customer screen, you will be able to fill out all of the required information.

Select Add Customer #

Select Add Customer to save this customer in your system.

Select Continue #

Select Continue if you would like to return to the transaction.

The customer is now ID Verified #

Once you are back at the transaction, you will see a box that shows the customer is now ID Verified and eligible to make the purchase.
