Overview #
If a customer made an incorrect purchase or encountered an issue with a product, they may wish to initiate an item return at the business.

Return Button #
Select the Return button to make an item return.

Popup with Two Options #
Once the return button is selected, a popup will appear with two options: Multi Return and Single Return.

Multi-Item Return #
Select Multi Return to pull up a list of previous transactions for a return.

Popup Screen with Transactions #
A popup screen will display a list of transactions.

Select the Transaction #
Choose the transaction you wish to make a return on by selecting the red arrow.

List of Purchased Items #
You will see a list of all items that were purchased.

Select Items to Return #
Select the items you wish to return from the transaction to the store.

Return #
Select Return.

Choose Payment Type #
After selecting the items to return, choose the payment type for the return.

Select Cash or Card #
Select either Cash or Card.

Confirm Return #
Confirm the return by selecting Yes.

Successful Return #
A popup will appear saying “Order Returned Successfully.”

Select Reprint #
Select Reprint to view if the return was successful.

Status Return #
If the return was successful, the status will show as “Return.”

Single Return (All) #
Select Single Return (All) to return items by scanning them into a new transaction.

Popup on Screen #
A popup will appear asking if it is a single item or all items being returned.

Select ALL #
Select ALL to return multiple items by scanning or searching.

Return Price #
When selecting ALL, scanned items will enter the transaction with a return price.

Scan Multiple Items #
Scan multiple items.

Negative Price Display #
All items will show a negative price as a return item.

Single Return (Single) #
Select Single Return (Single) to return an item by scanning it into a new transaction.

Popup on Screen #
A popup will appear asking if it is a single item or all items being returned.

Select Single #
Select Single to return one single item in the transaction.

Single Item Return #
When selecting a single item return, only the next item added to the transaction will appear as a return price.

Scan Multiple Items #
Scan multiple items into the transaction.

Verify Return Status #
The first item scanned will display a negative or return price, while other items will retain the normal sale price.

Note: Item returns can only be done by employees who have the correct permissions to do so. It is also important to verify the customer’s purchase using a receipt to make sure the item they are returning was from the store.
